| Use one whole sheet of seaweed for Futomaki, 1/2 sheet of seaweed for Hosomaki. |
(Making Hosomaki) Put a 1/2 sheet of seaweed on a rolling mat shiny side down. |
Place the rice ball (3 to 4 handfuls) in the center of seaweed. |

| Spread the rice left to right. Leave space on top and bottom of sheet. |
Put anthing you like in the center of the rice. |
Pull up the end of the mat. |

| Roll! |
Lightly squeeze and make your roll in a circular or triangular shape. |
Open the mat and push sides of roll to fix. |
