   Miso Soup

 


This is basic Japanese miso soup recipe.

Serving for 4 persons

Miso Paste: 2 table spoons
(about 40g)
Water: 600 ml
Bonito Stock: 1 stick (5g)
*Dashi: 600 ml
        (Start figure 4)
Green Onion: 1
Tofu: 100g (1 package)
Dry Wakame: handfull

        
 

  Boil Water.
Cut Tofu to small cubes.
Slice Green Onion thin.
Soak Wakame in water 3-4 minutes and drain.
       
 
  Add Bonito Stock
into boiled water.

Stop heat and add Miso Paste.

Use ladle and chopstick or utensil to
mix miso and water.
       
 
  Start heating and add
wakame and tofu.
Just before the soup boils,
add green onion and stop heat.
Pour into a Japanese wooden bowl.
Finished Miso Soup!!
